Our World Community

Jimmy's Village School is incredibly grateful for the support it receives from people around the world. Jimmy's passionate and humble personality attracts volunteers whose help makes this dream come true. The school welcomes all visitors with an open heart and an invitation to fun learning. Volunteers from all over the world have shared their knowledge and culture with Jimmy and his students.

As Jimmy is teaching and the students are attentively taking notes, volunteers are invited to walk around the classroom and help the students to further explain the rules of the English language or correct any mistakes. They also brought books, games, and donations, which Jimmy can only provide so many of. They quickly jump on board with Jimmy's fun teaching style and laugh with the class!

Each and every one of these faces is a unique and beautiful story. We are one united community. Thank you for being part of the family.

Here are just some of volunteers' faces..

Dear Kaz Shakespeare,

On behalf of the children at Jimmy’s Village School, based in Siem Reap, Angkor, I would like to let you know how much I appreciated your time you have put every night to help correct Children English work and take the travelers to the school.

You did a fantastic job; your time is valuable and Your work would be honored. Thank you so much for your presence, thoughts, and actions.

The children and I will all think of you, your happy time you have given in classrooms.

See you soon!

Dear Brittany,

I would like to let you know what an outstanding job I think you're doing with the children you work with in Jimmy’s Village School. They really respond to you, and that's probably due to how patient you are with them. I can hear their reading skills improving and their confidence growing with each session, even with the ones that struggle the most.

You have such a wonderful ability to meet each child at her ability level and work up from there. The children are so lucky to have you as a volunteer teacher, and so are we.

Any time you step in the class. I just everyday hear the children call you name out aloud.

Million thanks for caring of these beautiful, polite and smart children.

We see you every evening.
