Philosophy and The Passion
Giving a gift of education is not a business deal for Jimmy. It's his passion and a lifelong dream. In a poor country like Cambodia still recovering from destructive effects of the war tourism is the main industry while being able to communicate is a critical skill. Jimmy sees teaching English as a bridge between cultures connecting his country with the global community.
Future home land of Jimmy's Village School
Village School
Right now Jimmy's School is temporarily hosted in a family house that is going for sale. Soon, there will be no place for kids to come to. Jimmy's Village School project is raising funds to buy land north of Siem Reap and build permanent location. New school will provide free English lessons to hundreds of families who don't have access to education otherwise.
A friend and former student of Jimmy's offered to sell his lot for a discounted price with the goal of creating opportunities for the community. The land is located in a beautiful rural area next to gorgeous Buddhist temple built entirely on donations, a mountain not too far away, a lake surrounded by palm trees, and a crocodile farm. Right now it's just an empty piece of ground, but with some effort that ground can change many lives.
Jimmy's dream is to continue free lessons, and follow his mission of giving back. To fund school supplies, the Village School will host a home-stay with adventure tours allowing travelers explore Cambodian beauty, and experience local hospitality first hand.

Next step in in JVS project is Jimmy's Mobile School - a chance to bring English education to children at multiple locations, city and rural. It is common for kids to walk or cycle miles to the nearest school; many cannot afford it because they have to be home on time to help family at the night market, or get up early in the morning to work at the farm. The idea of mobile school is to have a bus equipped with necessary tools to come to a convenient site, and help families achieve their dreams without sacrificing daily income.
