Jimmy's Village School serves one of the busiest neighborhoods in Siem Reap  since 2010, and accepts kids of different age willing and eager to learn English. Several generations of students got significant support trying to get their families out of poverty. 

Jimmy, the one and only teacher, principal, and everything in between, hosts classes on a side of the road outside of his family house. Passing by cars and people are destructive, but students are used to the noise, and Jimmy's authentic and entertaining teaching technique keeps them involved.

History, ethics, philosophy, traditions, public speaking and sometimes even singing and theatrical plays.. It's not just English lessons. Jimmy want to be an inspiration for these children, give them hope and motivation to get better at whatever it is they want to achieve in their lives and stay connected to the community while helping everyone rise with them. 

It's a life-long dream and purpose. These faces are many affirmations.. 

We are now looking into the future of Jimmy's Village School to help continue the work that was done by Jimmy in helping Cambodian children take control of their lives. Village school and the mobile school are the main 2 projects Jimmy's working on.  

VIllage School

Right now Jimmy's School is temporarily hosted in a family house that is going for sale. Soon, there will be no place for kids to come to. Jimmy's Village School project is raising funds to buy land north of Siem Reap and build permanent location. New school will provide free English lessons to hundreds of families who don't have access to education otherwise.

Mobile school

Jimmy's Mobile School is a chance to bring education to children at multiple locations, city and rural. A bus equipped with necessary tools will help country families get education in the neighborhood.
